Israel’s Independence Day

Will the statement in the post photo come true? Will Israel get its promised land returned? Will it be in our lifetime? Certainly not one person can know for sure. However, I know it will be true once Jesus Christ has returned to Jerusalem to sit on David’s throne and rule over all the earth. What a wonderful day that will be! The Light of Life returns to restore the kingdom to Israel and we, the church, get to go with Him! Through prophecy the proof of this is written in the Bible; God’s words revealed to us by the Holy Spirit through the inspired writings of men.

Where do you sit; in the light or in the dark? If you follow the words and life of Jesus then you are in the light. If you follow along with the world’s words and culture then you are in the dark. Once you depart this life on earth; whether by rapture or death, you will either go to the light or to the dark. There is no other choice. The light gives you an eternity of incredible joy. The dark gives you an eternity of incredible evil. You get to choose.

Choose wisely Grasshopper. 🦗

On this day, Israelis mark the anniversary of the country’s declaration of independence in 1948, when the State of Israel was established. The holiday is a time of great celebration, with parades, fireworks, and family gatherings across the country.

However, this year’s celebrations are taking place under the shadow of ongoing conflict and war in the region. The country is still reeling from the aftermath of the October 7 attacks, which claimed numerous lives and left a profound impact on the nation. As a result, this year’s celebrations are expected to be more subdued, with traditional air and sea parades canceled and fireworks displays in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv called off.

Matthew 26:64

Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

~ Matthew, Apostle
