The above text indicates what I am. It is about me but it’s not what I’m about or who I am. Let me explain. I believe that we humans are created by The Most High God, Yahweh. I also believe that He created us in three parts to make a whole; 1/3 body, 1/3 mind, 1/3 soul. So, even though I find fractions difficult, I think I know that 3/3rds equals a whole! That is what creates a whole individual, not the labels we create for ourselves. Yes, I am as the beginning sentence says, but I am so much more. God has created me as an individual. I’m not like anyone else. Praise the Lord. That means God loves me so much that he made me one-of-a kind. My body is a container for my mind and soul. I don’t mean brain (the organ) and soul. I mean the mind as in thoughts, imaginations, memories, pleasure, pain, emotions and so forth.

I am the summary of the indivisible three; body, mind, and soul. Or could that be of the indivisible three; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit? Hmmmm.

Why Three Ring Weaving?

I recall that when I was quite young; as an adolescent through teenage years, my mother frequently telling me that I always wanted a three-ring circus. I didn’t know what she meant at the time. But now thinking about it I guess it was because I always wanted to be doing things, different things, all the time. I got bored easily. I had a hard time sitting and doing nothing. Looking back, and if it were today, I’d probably be diagnosed with ADHD. Some times I think I do have ADHD and still undiagnosed.

Okay, back to the Three Ring Weaving name. It’s because it still seems I need a three-ring circus in my life and my latest passion is weaving, I combined the two.

For example; these are the things I like to do, bible study, listening to Christian podcasts, (actually I listen to the podcasts while I do some other activities) weaving (floor and ridged heddle looms), working on my blog, crocheting, loom knitting, machine knitting, gardening, raising livestock, preserving food, riding my electric bicycle, rock hounding, rock polishing, making jewelry, playing Wii, making soap, watching movies, and eat ice cream. There’s a lot more I like to do but those are the main ones.

Does that sound like a three-ring circus? 😁
